Ann Retzlaff, a campground owner in Shawano County in Wisconsin, failed to show up for her court hearing on charges of eluding and resisting police. Police tried to pull her over on May 15, 2021, but she refused.

“She stated she did not do anything wrong, and she was being wrongfully stopped. She stated she is a sovereign citizen and will not step out of the vehicle.”

She also told them she did not stop because she was rescuing an employee from sex traffickers.

She was charged with four counts for the May 15 incident.  A warrant for her arrest has been issued.

This is not her first time in trouble. Other incidents include posing as a sheriff’s deputy,  and ignoring COVID-10 measures at her campground.

Update: She was located on Oct 28 on and then let go on general release. She has a Dec 1 hearing for bail/bond forfeiture.

The news reports they were able to acquire emails she sent to county officials (presumably regarding her court hearing she did not attend). One said the following:

“Do NOT trespass. Read the Constitution! All of you took an Oath of Office to Protect and Defend the Constitution. Our state’s constitution got hijacked only a year after it was written and we must break free of the chains of slavery, the fraudulent banking elite that rule over all of us, the satanic rulers of the world,”

She also wrote:

“Under Article VI, I have a right to counsel of my choice and I choose Wisconsin Institute of Law and Liberty. I do NOT waive my right to counsel and I do NOT CONSENT to being pigeonholed by nobility’s attempt to force me to make a Special Appearance to state the same as my email, phone calls, and voice message. I have a right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness and I do NOT consent to an illegal and unjust ‘bench warrant’ or un-Constitutional fines, penalties, or false imprisonment (again).”

I think she just made it worse for herself.
