Michele Burke is well known for causing problems in the neighborhood. Police attempted to negotiate with her for two hours as she stood on the back deck of her former home holding a gun.

She was shot once in her elbow and once to her chest and is expected to recover.

She was considered a known trespasser of the home and was waving the sword at neighbors, threatening to kill them. When the police arrived, she went into the home and continued making threats. This is not the first time she’s had interactions with police, and has a history of threatening officers.

At one point during these latest interactions, she pointed a revolver at an officer.

Records indicate that she filed a lawsuit against the city of Tulsa in 2016 after her basement flooded. She claimed that the city caused the damage and wanted them to fix it. Her case was dismissed in 2020.

Her home was officially owned by the city of Tulsa in 2019 which he refused to leave the property. She continued to file lawsuits, in one instance sued 58 individuals and asked that they be arrested and tried for “High Treason and mutiny against descendants of founding fathers of the USA and the Sovereign Native Americans.”
