Mr. Simon Kennedy appeared in a video making comments to a group called A Stand in the Park, who have been known to share vaccine misinformation. They were also known to promote anti-lockdown efforts and conspiracy theorists.
In the video, he says:
- “We have flipped into a society where we are acting on fear rather than confidence. I think that needs to flip,”
- “People losing their jobs. I have an enormous amount of empathy for that.”
- “It wasn’t a situation any individual put themselves in. They were being forced. They had to choose, do I take this course of action and put these chemicals in my body?”
He also expressed concern about the swiftness with which vaccines were created and said that he is anti-mandate.
“Attendees also cite a number of claims associated with the sovereign citizen movement, including that the government is an illegitimate corporation.”
