She keeps refusing to come to court and the judge is not having it. He issued a bench warrant for Ms. Retzlaff that reads:
“Arrest and bring the above-named person before me, or if I am not available before some other judge or court commissioner of this county, because: The person failed to appear in court as required.”
She is facing multiples charges related to nearly hitting two officers with her vehicle. She repeatedly emails the court about her fears of COVID-19. Ironically, she enacting no-mask policies at her Campground because she did not trust the science behind masking.
Retlzaff writes, “I fear for my life to be in an enclosed area with people in it that may have the contagion covid. Based on documented, peer-reviews on the seriousness of the contagion covid, I will not make a special appearance tomorrow.”
She is also challenging the lawfulness of the warrant, among many other things, as sovereigns do.
