Joseph Catarineau, a self-declared sovereign citizen, was in court today accused of fraud. He was angry with the judge’s decision about his case and attacked a female bailiff. Multiple people, including the judge, stepped in to help end the assault and in the process took some punches.
Mr. Catarineau was eventually tased and arrested.
They were shocked by the violence. I am not.

“Catarineau had been charged in 2018 with submitting false financial statements that he had worked for American Airlines and Envoy Air and was owed money by the two companies…Catarineau had worked as a pilot for Envoy Air until he was fired in 2017 for “erratic behavior,” according to court records.”
