Cindy Falco-Dicorrando is running for Boynton Beach mayor and apparently is subscribing to sovereign citizen ideas. She is at the least utilizing what some call Millerian syntax (as shown in the tweet below). It involves the use of a certain style of punctuation, involving commas and colons, etc., to separate their “Christian appellation” from their government name. Others may use it for different reasons (perhaps not realizing the origins).
Equally disturbing are the rambling court documents Cindy filed for her case claiming she is not under the jurisdiction of the court. It reads like half baked “sovereign citizen” garbage.
Funny to be running for office while arguing to not be a citizen. 🥴 pic.twitter.com/TM7W2gW6A8

Ms. Falco-Dicorrado was recently convicted on two misdemeanor counts after a January 2021 arrest regarding mask wearing in a restaurant.
The idea of sovereign citizens holding office is very concerning. By definition, a sovereign citizen is anti-government. It simply should not be allowed.
