Brandon Stuart Moore is facing charges of aggravated first-degree drug sale, aggravated first-degree drug possession and ineligible possession of a firearm after a traffic stop.
The police attempted to pull him over but he kept driving. When he finally pulled over the police could smell marijuana. He refused to follow police commands. He told the officers that he was traveling and that they need to leave him alone.
He said “that he doesn’t respect law enforcement authority, that he doesn’t operate under the uniform commercial code and that he was a private entity talking about the constitution.”
After the arrest, police found a pound of methamphetamine, along with a handgun and cash in his vehicle.
At his first court appearance, he notarized a 10-page “Affidavit of Truth” indicating that he is a “natural, freeborn Sovereign. … I am neither subject to any entity anywhere, nor is any entity subject to me. I neither dominate anyone, nor am I dominated.”
He also included a 16-page addendum regarding his common law rights.
These tactics have never worked so chances are good they are not going to work for Mr. Moore.
