Not quite a sovereign citizen but freedom convoyer who tired what was categorized as being a Organized Pseudolegal Commercial Argument (overlaps with sovereigns but not the same though he did claim to have “sovereign citizen rights”) in court but lost (on some counts). It is a good read.
In his defense, Montgomery asserted that he is a sovereign citizen, and is therefore exempt from certain Michigan laws, including having to pay taxes.
